Telecom Women's Welfare Organisation is a registered society under societies of registration Act XXI of 1860. It came into being in July 2016 and presently, its headquarter is CGMT J&K Office, North Block, Bahu Plaza, Jammu-12.

The wife of incumbent CGMT, J&K Circle, BSNL generally remains as President of this organization and other office bearers viz. Secretary, Joint Secretaries, Treasurers are elected members of TWCO. Wives/daughters/daughter-in-law of the officials and the working women officers of these organizations can become member of TWWO and participate in its various activities.
